CDA meets Monday at parish hall The Court Eunice 208, Catholic Daughters of the Americas will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at Jeanmard Hall, North 3rd Street. All members are encouraged to attend and bring an item to be donated to the Eunice Food Bank. New membership is always open.

Garage sale at FUMC Saturday First United Methodist Church in Eunice, at 501 S. 5th, will have a garage sale from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Any 65-year-old and older customer can receive 5 free pieces of clothing. Limited supply and only clothing pieces.

Unclaimed property checks in the mail

Louisiana State Treasurer John M. Schroder announced that 27,125 Unclaimed Property checks totaling $4.8 million were mailed May 26 following a data match to update addresses. Checks will be mailed to every parish in the state.
