Gail Heinbach Savoie, the wife of UL Lafayette President Joseph Savoie, passed away on Sunday following an extended illness. She was 67 years old.

The area is about to get busy with construction projects funded in the legislative session that ended June 6.

Miller tells airport history

Drew Miller has served as manager for the Eunice Airport for the past 38 years and on Wednesday he spoke about the airport’s history at the Eunice Rotary Club.
Miller is a 1967 Eunice High School graduate, attended LSUE, and a graduate of Louisiana Tech where he earned a business marketing degree.
