Prairie Acadian Cultural Center plans ‘Camp Bonjour’

Prairie Acadian Cultural Center plans ‘Camp Bonjour’ Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve’s Prairie Acadian Cultural Center in Eunice is now accepting applications for “Camp Bonjour,” a week-long day camp for kids ages 6-8 and 9-12. The center is located at 250 W. Park Ave.

Ville Platte attorney may be disbarred

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board’s Hearing Committee has recommended that Timmy Fontenot be disbarred. Complaints were filed against Fontenot in 2014 by a former client of his who alleged the Mamou attorney made them wait five years to receive a settlement that his clients did not agree to.
