Downtown to feature classic cars, trucks

Downtown Eunice will feature classic cars and trucks for the Spring Into Summer Car Show & Touch-A-Truck on Saturday. Attendance is free for the public. Event organizer Mark Denette said some estimates are $10 million worth vehicles are on display during the show held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Jobless rates are up, workforce steady in April

Tri-Parish unemployment rates in April were up and the workforce was nearly unchanged compared to a year ago, according to the Louisiana Workforce Commission. The total workforce count in April was 68,046, up 210 or 0.3% from the April 2024 total for St. Landry, Acadia and Evangeline parishes.
