Savoy Swords Water System adding a new water well

The Savoy Swords Water System has been awarded a $913,000 loan from the Louisiana Department of Health’s Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund (DWRLF) program to construct a new water well for residents, according to a news release.

Tires added to parish junked motor vehicle law

Dr. Ned Fruge tells his 53-year vet story

Dr. Neddrick (Ned) Fruge has been a veterinarian for 53 years and he has no intentions of retiring. He is 1966 Eunice High School graduate and a 1972 graduate of Texas A & M Veterinarian School. He has seen it all in his past 50 years. He has made house calls for farmers, with horses and cattle.
