Sarah Jayde Williams was joined by Joshua Johnson at the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserve Prairie Acadian Cultural Center program Thursday. The Eunice High School Concert Band, led by director Lamont Goodman, attended the District III Large Ensemble Assessment at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette on March 27. Sixty-six bands from seven Acadiana parishes attended this year’s event, where bands performed prepared music, as well as music never seen before, in front of a panel of judges. The Eunice High School Band received a Superior, the highest possible rating, from every judge.Goodman said, “The band has worked hard this year, and they pla
