St. Landry Parish Sheriff Concealed Carry class set July 22
The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office will host a 1-day concealed carry permit training class on July 22 at 211 West Park in Eunice. The class will begin at 7:30 a.m.

U.S. Representative Mike Johnson released the following information regarding the backlog of passport applications at the U.S. State Department and is urging Louisianians seeking to renew a passport to begin that process early.

School Board OKs staff for personnel office

In a special meeting on Monday, the St. Landry Parish School Board approved hiring a second coordinator of personnel recruitment if a study finds it is needed and if funds are available.

Free live music at the Depot Museum
The Prairie Acadian Cultural Center will sponsor free live music every second Saturday of the month at the Depot Museum, located at 220 S. CC Duson in Eunice.
