Shooting of a teen reported Saturday

On Saturday at 11:32 p.m. Eunice Police responded to a report of a shooting at the intersection of Corn and Benoit Streets. According to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot, “Multiple shots were fired, some striking a 17-year-old victim.

Bulb & Blossom meeting set Monday The Eunice Bulb and Blossom Garden Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the home of Fran Guillory. This meeting will be the plant exchange and all members are asked to bring a plant. Membership is open to anyone wishing to take part.

Acadian Cultural Center hosts Debris Art with Trish Ransom

The Acadian Cultural Center hosts Debris Art, an exhibit by local artist Trish Ransom through Marsh 27. Admission to both the exhibit and the center is free and open to the public.

Redemptorist Catholic School to close

The Diocese of Lafayette announced today that Redemptorist Catholic School in Crowley will close its doors for the final time at the end of the 2018-2019 school year.
