The Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, in partnership with Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser, has selected former Louisiana poet laureate Darrell Bourque as the 2019 Humanist of the Year.

Eunice officials participate in formal inauguration

The City of Eunice held a formal inauguration ceremony Thursday evening at the Liberty Center. Eunice elected officials were officially sworn in one by one by Eunice City Judge Terry Hoychick.

Etouffée cookoff set in March

The Eunice Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the City of Eunice will present the 34th Annual World Championship Crawfish Etouffee Cook-off on March 31. The festivities begin on March 30 from 8 p.m.
