Glendon Dale Cormier

Glendon Dale Cormier passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017, at the age of 70. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow at Ashford Cemetery in Basile, La.

Saturday morning crash at CC Duson and Laurel

Before 9 a.m. Saturday a crash occurred at the intersection of CC Duson and Laurel Avenue. The signal light is down due to the crash. The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development in a news release stated the intersection of U.S. 190 at La.

Freddie Pate to perform at LSUE LSUE Performing Arts, along with Experience Louisiana and CLECO are presenting Freddie Pate in concert on at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 6 in the auditorium of the Health Tech building (nurses building). All proceeds go to the LSUE Foundation scholarship fund.
