Staff Report A hit and run and high speed chase from Eunice to Basile, then back to Eunice, got Demondre D. Terry, 20, of Eunice, arrested. Eunice police responded at 10:48 p.m. Thursday to a hit and run call. An officer spotted a suspicious vehicle at Williams Avenue in Eunice.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested on two counts of sexual battery of a juvenile. St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said Lawrence Kenneth Richard, 100 block of Louise Street, Grand Coteau, was arrested on July 10.

Man accused of beating, imprisoning girlfriend

A 55-year-old man has been arrested for domestic violence and false imprisonment of his girlfriend after St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s deputies responded to a welfare complaint, according to Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
