Church Point man arrested for indecent behavior with juvenile

A 41-year-old Church Point man has been arrested for indecent behavior with a juvenile employee. St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said Brandt Robin, of the 300 block of Houston Richard Road, Church, was arrested Wednesday for indecent behavior with a juvenile.

New bridge celebrated in Swords

Deputy hurt, suspect killed in shooting

An Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s deputy was wounded and a burglary was suspected was killed in a shooting that occurred at about 4 a.m. Thursday in Mamou, according to a news release from Master Trooper Daniel “Scott” Moreau of the Louisiana State Police.
