Jacque Pucheu, of Eunice, has been named the attorney for the Port of Krotz Springs. Pucheu, who has served as Eunice city attorney, has been practicing law for 43 years.

Aldermen OK resolution opposing closing LSUE

Eunice aldermen passed a resolution to be sent to legislators and the governor to oppose closing Louisiana State University Eunice. The action at Tuesday’s meeting came at the request of Jack Burson, alderman at-large.

New terminal online for airport

By today a construction schedule should be settled for a new terminal at the Eunice Airport. Drew Miller, airport manager, said the 1,200-square-foot building is to cost $335,900 and the funding is coming from the state government.
