LSUE to offer ACT boot camps this fall

The LSU Eunice Office of Workforce Innovation and Continuing Education will offer several ACT boot camps for high school students, the office recently announced. Courses will run throughout the fall covering mathematics, English, and reading/science. The boot camps begin with mathematics from Sept.

$207.3M FEMA grant includes money for Acadia Parish

It’s a few months early for most people in Louisiana to have crawfish on their minds. But the cycle of producing crawfish for those eagerly anticipated springtime boils is already underway — and this summer’s drought conditions could have an impact.

Stine Home & Yard is bringing its well-known brand of home improvement and building materials to Eunice and surrounding communities. Stine CEO Dennis Stine reports that the Sulphur based company has acquired the assets of a long-time community business, Fruge Lumber.
