Rick Pavlu from Church Point was the guest speaker at the Eunice Rotary Club meeting. Pavlu, a botanist, is a retired pastor of Point Church in Church Point. He served as pastor for the past 40 years.

Eunice schools are tops among parish schools

There were four A schools in St. Landry. Eunice High and Eunice Elementary attained As in the annual state performance scores. For Eunice High it is the fourth consecutive year to achieve an A in the state’s school performance results. East Elementary in Eunice scored its third A grade.
