Washingon man, 73, convicted of sex crimes.

A St. Landry Parish jury convicted Larry Primeaux Sr., 73, of Washington, of multiple sex crimes, according to District Attorney Chad Pitre. Primeaux was convicted on Oct.

LSUE campus cleared after bomb threat

A bomb threat closed the LSUE campus on Tuesday morning. The campus was reopened Wednesday. At about 9 a.m. all classes and business operations were closed for the remainder of the day. Students, staff and faculty were asked to leave the campus. A news release from LSUE at about 3 p.m.
