Pedestrian killed on La 95 south of Church Point on Sunday

A crash involving a pedestrian on La. 95 near La. 754, south of Church Point in Acadia Parish claimed the life of 38-year-old Tyler O. Roberts of Rayne. A Louisiana State Police Troop I news release stated it was notified of he wreck at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 8.

Concealed carry

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is holding a one-day concealed carry permit training class starting at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 21 at 211 W. Park Ave., Eunice. The course is $100 and $80 for a spouse or renewal.
