The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. Thursday, Oct. 5 Cody Dwayne Moore, 33, 200 block of Stagecoach Road, Duson. Theft of a motor vehicle. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. Markus Henry, 30, 800 block of St Cyr Ave, Opelousas.

Worker rescued from auger

An employee male subject was trapped in an auger at Tri-Parish Rice Drier, located on Bacciochi Street, at about noon Friday. Eunice firefighters responded to the scene, along with St. Landry Parish Sheriff deputies and St. Landry EMS.
