Information sought about thief

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs the public’s help to solve a crime. The Crowley Police Department is investigating a vehicle burglary that occurred on March 2 about 5:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Parkerson Avenue.

Turkey Creek chief remains in stable condition after stabbing

A concerned resident of Turkey Creek interrupted the Village Council meeting Tuesday night and complained about suspicious activity near his residence that led to the eventual stabbing of Police Chief Robert Glenn Leggett.
