Easter gunplay ends with wounded juvenile

A juvenile was wounded below his left knee after a teen twirled a .22-caliber pistol with his index finger on the porch of a residence in the 200 block of North 8th Street on Easter, according to a Eunice Police report. Tristen Romero, 17, 200 block of North 8th Street, Eunice.

Suspect in Chief of Police stabbing to be held without bond

The person accused of stabbing Turkey Creek Police Chief Robert Glenn Leggett was ordered by Judge Gary Ortego to be held without bond pending trial after a hearing was held Monday afternoon.

Sheriff lists recent narcotics arrests, citations
