In a battle between rivals, St. Edmund exploded for 35 second half points as the Lady Jays grabbed a 58-40 win over Basile. St. Ed’s opened the game with a 7-0 run, sparked by a three-point play by Mary Helen Miller along with buckets from Greta Miller and Madison Comeau.

Experience leads Bobcat basketball

The Bobcats have a group of seniors who have been playing together since junior high. Eunice High head coach Chad Andrepont hopes that experience helps the Bobcats this season. “They played junior high and AAU ball together,” Andrepont said.
