Early offense spurs home opening sweep vs. Bishop State

EUNICE– LSU Eunice Softball opened up the home portion of the 2026 season in style with a doubleheader sweep of Bishop State CC on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Lady Bengal Field.

St. Edmund Wrestling finishes third at state, marks major milestone in year three

Methodical Bengals take run-rule opener over National Park

EUNICE- It was prototypical win for LSU Eunice in its series opener against National Park College on Friday, using strong pitching, timely hitting, and working the basepaths during a 12-1 mercy rule victory at Bengal Stadium. It was LSUE’s (3-1) first run-rule of the early campaign.

LSUE fights off Kirkwood for Saturday Sweep

EUNICE – A series pitting two preseason NJCAA ranked teams lived up to the billing on Saturday with LSU Eunice winning a pair of tight games against Kirkwood at Lady Bengal Field. The Bengals (8-1) captured their third straight doubleheader sweep of the week.

Bengals roll in Friday run rules over San Jacinto

EUNICE – LSU Eunice Softball’s potential was on full display Friday as the Bengals secured a pair of mercy rule wins over San Jacinto at Lady Bengal Field. The Bengals (6-1) have won in run-rule fashion in three of their six wins in this early portion of the season.

Bobcats kick off Turner era with convincing win

By Rhett Manuel Sports Editor First-year head coach Stuart Turner learned a lot about his Bobcats after the pair of games played in Saturday’s Perry Pitre Ford Jamboree. After scrapping through to a 1-0 win over Glenmore, the Bobcats then lost to Opelousas Catholic 2-0 in their final tune-up.

Second quarter swings LCCAC opener for Bengals

NEW ORLEANS – LSU Eunice Women’s Basketball began their LCCAC title defense in impressive fashion, cruising past Delgado CC 80-58 on the road on last Wednesday. The win gave head coach Rob Beckmann his 50th career victory, 34 of them coming with the Bengals (14-6, 1-0 LCCAC).
