Lady Cat trio named to All-District list

Three Lady Bobcats were selected to the 2020 Division III – District 2 All-District Team. Eunice High’s Gabbie Mitchell was named to the first team, while Sophie Vidrine and Rylea Gradney were placed on honorable mention list.

Guillory signs with Xavier softball

Eunice High catcher McKenzie Guillory will see her softball career continue as the senior signed a national letter of intent Thursday to play softball at Xavier University of New Orleans. BELLE CHASSE – The No. 10 Bobcats advanced to the quarterfinals for the second time in three years as Eunice rolled to a 35-0 win over No. 26 Belle Chasse. Eunice (6-2) will play host to No 2 Edna Karr 6-1), 70-19 winners over No. 15 Istrouma.

Blue Jays looking to build foundation

Bobcats visit Belle Chasse for second round of playoffs

It was sweet revenge for the Bobcats as No. 10 Eunice cruised to a 36-0 win over Bastrop to open the Class 4A playoffs. Last season, the Rams grabbed an 8-7 win over Eunice in the second round. “It was big time motivation,” Eunice High head coach Andre Vige said of the rematch against the Rams.
