Several area students shine on McNeese rodeo teams

With the cancellation of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association’s College National Rodeo Finals this year due to coronavirus, McNeese State University’s men’s and women’s rodeo teams have officially ended the season.

Spring Squirrel Season Opens May 2

Spring squirrel hunting season begins Saturday in Louisiana and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries reminds hunters to use social distancing practices due to the coronavirus pandemic. Spring squirrel season runs from May 2-24.

LHSAA 2020 Academic All-State softball
