Local trio heads to showcase

LAKE CHARLES – Eunice High juniors Austin Phillips and Tyler Darbonne, along with Iota High junior Hunter Wriborg have been selected to play today in a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m. at the McNeese baseball stadium. The showcase is called the Louisiana/Texas shootout.

Manuel signs with LSUA

LSUE releases soccer schedules

The build-up towards the start of the LSU Eunice soccer programs continues with the release of their fall schedules. The men's team will have a 12-game schedule while the women's squad is scheduled for a 14-game slate.

Mahfouz inducted into Eunice High Sports Hall of Fame

A man who never won a state championship was the first high school coach inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame. Mahfouz has now been inducted into the Eunice High Sports Hall of Fame. Mahfouz joins Dana Jenkins in receiving the honor.
