ENID, Oklahoma – Top-ranked LSU Eunice outscored its first two opponents 19-6 as the Bengals cruised to the winner’s bracket final of the NJCAA Division II baseball world series.

The Bengals are one of ten teams in the field for the double elimination tournament.
St. Edmund won its district baseball championship and the Blue Jays placed 10 players on the post season All-District 4-1A list.
St. Edmund sophomore Peyton Marcantel (.615 batting average, 7 steals) was the district MVP and first team catcher.
A quartet of LSU Eunice standouts were named to the 2018 All-Region Softball team as announced by the Region 23 women's director. LSU Eunice has the second most nomination behind 2018 NJCAA Division II National Champion Jones County Junior College.
