One thing about Eunice High’s 2024 season has never been in doubt.
The Bobcats’ disappointing 2-8 record where they missed the postseason was in no way, shape or form indicative of the standard for the program.
It’s a standard where anything less than a district title is a disappointment.

Fishing pier completed at Boggy Bayou Boat Launch on Spring Bayou WMA

The St. Landry Parish Jamboree is scheduled at Beau Chene High School on Aug. 29. Admission is $13. The jamboree begins at 6 p.m. with Eunice High playing Beau Chene followed by Opelousas High vs Northwest High at 7:15 p.m. and North Central High vs Port Barre High at 8:30 p.m. The format is for two 10-minute halves with kickoffs, two timeouts per half and no overtime.
