EMTL Team Pitre in lead on week 4

The EMTL (Eunice Men’s Tennis League) completed their week four of the fall season with Team Pitre Ashford winning 9-6 over their opponents of Team Moosa in the early match and in the late match Team D’Aubin took over 9-5 against Team Pitre.

Team Pitre takes lead in week 3

The third week of the fall season of Eunice Ladies Tennis League (ELTL) ended the evening with Team Pitre winning 22 points over Team Simoneaux’s 4 points.
On Court 1, Team Pitre’s members Michelle Lafleur and Renee Johnson won 6-2, 6-4, against Carol Benoit and Heidi Dischler of Team Simoneaux.

Arnaudville man dies in boating incident at Henderson Lake

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries enforcement agents are investigating a fatal boating incident that occurred on Sept. 11 in St. Martin Parish.
Agents recovered the body of Scottey R. Broussard, 47, of Arnaudville, from Henderson Lake and turned his body over to the St.
