Eunice bad luck, slow start cost Bobcats in 22-16 loss

The Eunice Bobcats took a hard-luck loss against the rival Jennings Bulldogs last Friday, with a fluke fumble turning into a return for a touchdown for Jennings with under two minutes remaining and allowing them to escape with a 22-16 win.

In their third appearance in the Catholic Bowl, the St. Edmund Blue Jays turned in another statement win, rolling over Sacred Heart (Muenster, Tex) 55-6 to remain unbeaten all-time in the event. The Blue Jay offense was efficient, explosive and, frankly, not on the field very long. St.
