LSUE Baseball earns academic excellence award

LSU Eunice Baseball has been recognized with the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) recently announced. The Bengals are one of 41 junior college programs recognized this year.

LSU Eunice Men’s Soccer will play a 15-game schedule during the 2025 regular season, including six home matches at the Bengal Soccer Complex. LSUE opens up its eighth season of NJCAA play and the second under the guidance of head coach John Plumbar.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host their Wood Stork and Wading Bird Viewing Event on Aug. 2 at the South Farm of the Sherburne Wildlife Management Area (WMA) complex. The event will be from 7-10 a.m.

Former LSU Eunice standout Dawson Willis has signed with the San Diego Padres organization as he becomes the latest Bengal to join an MLB franchise. Willis inked with the club on Tuesday as an undrafted free agent following the completion of the 2025 MLB Draft.
