Spring football is not about the win or loss. More or less, it’s about progress. Head coach Andre Vige knew the Eunice Bobcat football program needed a revamping after last season’s disappointing 2-8 finish.

The St. Edmund Blue Jay baseball team capped off a successful season where they won their first playoff game in nine years by placing 10 players on the District 5-1A All-District squad as well as having a player named to the prestigious Academic All-State squad.

Eunice High senior tennis player John Christian Sattler capped off a strong career last week at the Louisiana High School Athletic Association’s State Tennis Tournament in Monroe, finishing as the state runner-up in Division III singles competition.

DENHAM SPRINGS — After capturing the Louisiana Community Colleges Athletic Conference (LCCAC) regular season championship in its first year, LSU Eunice Baseball landed five members on the All-Region 23 team. The team was announced during first-day action of the Region 23 Tournament on Saturday.
