Blue Jays win first playoff games

One of the toughest parts of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association starting the baseball playoffs when they did was, frankly, St. Ed’s upholding of a Holy Week tradition.

ELTL two teams, tied up match, week 10

The tenth week of Eunice Ladies Tennis League (ELTL) ended the evening with both teams, Team Pitre and Team Renee, having a tie, 16 to 16. On Court 1, Team Pitre’s Sydney Augustine and Tracey Brown won 6-2, 6-4 against Jamie Kirsch and Phyllis Hargroder of Team Renee.
