10 Blue Jays placed on district squad

The St. Edmund Blue Jay baseball team capped off a successful season where they won their first playoff game in nine years by placing 10 players on the District 5-1A All-District squad as well as having a player named to the prestigious Academic All-State squad.

Sattler finishes as state runner-up in tennis singles

Eunice High senior tennis player John Christian Sattler capped off a strong career last week at the Louisiana High School Athletic Association’s State Tennis Tournament in Monroe, finishing as the state runner-up in Division III singles competition.

Bengals land five on All-Region 23 Team

DENHAM SPRINGS — After capturing the Louisiana Community Colleges Athletic Conference (LCCAC) regular season championship in its first year, LSU Eunice Baseball landed five members on the All-Region 23 team. The team was announced during first-day action of the Region 23 Tournament on Saturday.

Team Pitre is spring season tennis winner

The 12th and final week of Eunice Ladies Tennis League (ELTL) ended the evening with Team Pitre, captained by Bonnie Pitre Kyzar, as the official winners of the spring 2025 season. The 12th week points were Team Pitre with 16 and Team Renee with 14.
