Driggs focuses on concussions, hydration with high school athletes

Michael Driggs, a physical therapist at Rehab Xcel, has been busy with preseason football season working with St. Edmund High School athletic sports. “We are educating football players about head concussion and staying hydrated,” he said.

Waterfowl stamp price set at $15

The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission (LWFC) adopted a resolution setting the Louisiana Waterfowl Conservation Stamp, or the Louisiana Duck Stamp, at $15 during its Aug. 7 in Baton Rouge.

New observation platform at South Farm on Sherburne WMA opens

Vige looks for a culture change for Bobcat football

One thing about Eunice High’s 2024 season has never been in doubt. The Bobcats’ disappointing 2-8 record where they missed the postseason was in no way, shape or form indicative of the standard for the program. It’s a standard where anything less than a district title is a disappointment.
