LSUE embarks on new chapter during 2025 season

It will be a season of new beginnings in many ways for LSU Eunice Baseball as the Bengals embark on the 2025 regular season, set to begin on Jan. 24. The 2024 NJCAA Division II National Champions will not only move up to NJCAA Division I but is set to unveil its new state-of-the-art facility.

Blue Jay footballers earn more honors

Hebert leads Bobcats on district team selections

The Eunice Bobcat football team endured adversity throughout the 2024 football season and finished with a 2-8 record. It was one of those medicine seasons that ultimately teams and programs hope to get better from.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) is asking state deer hunters for assistance in surveillance for chronic wasting disease (CWD) in connection with a deer at a captive deer farm which tested positive for the disease in Jeff Davis Parish on Nov. 7.
