Hebert leads Bobcats on district team selections

The Eunice Bobcat football team endured adversity throughout the 2024 football season and finished with a 2-8 record. It was one of those medicine seasons that ultimately teams and programs hope to get better from.

The Eunice High boys and girls basketball teams hosted the North Central Hurricanes last Friday night in a non-district game that helped serve as a potential preview for matchups we might see in this week’s parish tournament at North Central High.

Hunters asked to assist LDWF chronic wasting surveillance

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) is asking state deer hunters for assistance in surveillance for chronic wasting disease (CWD) in connection with a deer at a captive deer farm which tested positive for the disease in Jeff Davis Parish on Nov. 7.
