The Eunice Mens Tennis League spring action began its first week of the season Monday evening with team Moosa earning a win of 10-3 over team Pitre in the early match, while team Ashford came out on the top of Team D’Aubin 8-4 in the late match.

Bobcats off to a 5-0 start

It’s been a perfect start for the Eunice Bobcat baseball team so far. After opening its season with a neutral site game against Carencro, the Bobcats have run off another four wins to sit at 5-0 overall before taking their annual trip to Monroe for a tournament. Eunice defeated Beau Chene 11-0, St.

Cash crushes slam, LSUE completes another wild rally

If the first few weeks of LSU Eunice Baseball is any indication – they may not be for the feint of heart. The Bengals used a frantic ninth inning rally, capped by Cash Riley’s two-out grand slam to score a 5-3 win over Tyler Junior College on Saturday at Fezzo’s Field.

Bobcats lose to Yellow Jackets

The Eunice High boys and girls basketball teams ended District 3-4A play last Friday with a pair of losses to the Iowa Yellow Jackets. The Lady Cats struggled from the jump against Iowa in dropping a 63-8 game to the Lady Jackets, while the Bobcats got overwhelmed on their way to a 70-61 loss.

Lady Jays end regular season with 23-4 record

The St. Ed’s Lady Jays closed out their regular season on Friday night with a 43-34 win over Grand Lake on Friday night to end their season with a 23-4 overall record.
St Edmund wrestlers traveled to Shreveport to compete for the High School State Championship in each their respective classes over the weekend. Four wrestlers from St Edmund placed. Michael Perron placed fourth at 120 lbs, Cooper Berzas is the state champion at 126 lbs. Wesley Reed took fifth place in the 132 lbs weight class. Henry Summerlin took home third place in state in the 175 lb. weight class. The Blue Jay Wrestling Team placed seventh out of 29 teams at the State Championship Tournament. Pictured

LSU Eunice Women’s Basketball used an impressive run in the second and third quarters to produce a 79-52 win over Baton Rouge CC on Wednesday at the HPRE Center. The Bengals (16-9, 5-0 LCCAC) remained the lone unbeaten in conference play at the half point of the LCCAC schedule.
