St Edmund wrestlers traveled to Shreveport to compete for the High School State Championship in each their respective classes over the weekend. Four wrestlers from St Edmund placed. Michael Perron placed fourth at 120 lbs, Cooper Berzas is the state champion at 126 lbs. Wesley Reed took fifth place in the 132 lbs weight class. Henry Summerlin took home third place in state in the 175 lb. weight class. The Blue Jay Wrestling Team placed seventh out of 29 teams at the State Championship Tournament. Pictured

By Rhett Manuel Sports Editor The Eunice High Bobcat boys basketball team isn’t short of guys who have the potential to score 20 points on any given night. But, perhaps none of them are as gifted as senior Brilon Ceasar and when he’s at his best he might be the toughest Bobcat to stop.
