Eunice Men’s Tennis League registration is underway

The Eunice Men’s Tennis League (EMTL) will begin its 2024 fall season league on Aug. 19. Registration is underway through Aug. 12 at the law office of Terry Hoychick, 141 South 6th, Eunice. Dues are $30. Captains’ meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. Aug. 12 at Hoychick’s office.

Goodale Joins LSUE Baseball coaching staff

LSU Eunice Baseball has hired Tommy Goodale to join its staff, the Bengals Athletic Department announced on Wednesday. Goodale comes to the Cajun Prairie after serving the last season as an assistant at Murray State University.

When it comes to wins and losses at Eunice High, few programs have struggled to find consistent success as the girls’ basketball program has. The Lady Cats have seen the playoffs in the past, but for the most part there hasn’t been a long-term track record of success.

Former Bengal Feduccia called up by Dodgers

Former LSU Eunice catcher Hunter Feduccia is the latest Bengal to receive the call up to Major League Baseball, joining the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. Feduccia was sent up on Saturday while the Dodgers are in Houston for a weekend series.
