Breaux Bridge took advantage of seven Bobcat turnover as the Tigers grabbed a 28-15 win Friday night over No. 6 Eunice.
The St. Edmund offense rolled up 396 yards while the defense recorded a shut out Thursday night in the Blue Jays’ 47-0 win over Highland Baptist.
The undefeated Bobcats face their biggest test so far this season when the Breaux Bridge Tigers come to town Friday night.
No. 6 Eunice (3-0) has earned wins over Northwest (73-34), Jennings (19-7) and Ville Platte (47-6).
After back-to-back losses, the Blue Jays are hoping to rebound at home today as St. Edmund faces Highland Baptist.
St. Edmund head coach James Shiver knew what his Blue Jays were up against Friday night as Avoyelles came to visit.

VILLE PLATTE – Eunice High grounded out 350 yards of rushing that resulted in the Bobcats taking a commanding 47-6 victory over the Ville Platte Bulldogs Friday night.
He was the first baseball coach for the Bobcats and now Clarence Merricks joins the Eunice High Sports Hall of Fame.
According to Merricks, he was hired at EHS in the 1971-72 school year to fill an opening in math and science.
Just about everything that could go wrong for the Blue Jays against Bunkie did go wrong, but St. Edmund still had a chance to win.
The Blue Jays suffered two lost fumbles, two interceptions and was held to 53 yards of total offense.
Eunice looks to remain perfect on the season with a trip to Ville Platte Friday.
The No. 7 ranked Bobcats opened the season with wins over Northwest and Jennings.
