Leaves of three, let it be

You’ve probably heard the old saying, “Leaves of three, let it be.” For those who have spent time in the great outdoors, this is a rite of passage, much like the art of making s’mores. So, what am I talking about, and why is this important?
Eunice High School seniors Allison Freeman and Madison Freeman signed a letter of intent with McNeese State University to join the university’s track and field team. Allison was rewarded with an academic and athletic scholarship, and Madison was awarded with a partial athletic and academic scholarship. POPLARVILLE, Mississippi — An early offensive surge was too much for LSU Eunice to overcome as the Bengals fell to Pearl River in the Region 23 Championship, 11-4, on Thursday. The Bengals concluded the regular season with a record of 40-17.
The Eunice Ladies Tennis League (ELTL) held its end of the season tennis banquet Tuesday evening. The winning team for the spring season was announced, and Team Janet captured the win. Bengals fall to Northwest Miss., but season resumes in NJCAA tourney

It was a tale of two halves in the Region 23 Championship as an early advantage for LSU Eunice could not be held as the Bengals fell to Northwest Mississippi 9-2 on Sunday at Lady Wolves Field.

Lady Bobcats dominate All-District 4-4A team

The Eunice High Lady Bobcats won the District 4-4A title and advanced for the second time in program history to the state softball semifinals. The Lady Cats were recognized for their accomplishments with 10 players placed on the All-District 4-4A team.

After 11 weeks, Team Moosa is in the lead

In the Eunice Men’s Tennis League action after 11 weeks of tennis play of the season, Team Moosa has 64 points in the lead, Team Pitre/Stemplewski is in second place with 61 points, Team Ashford is in third with 51 points and Team Manuel and Fontenot is in fourth place with 50 points.
