New Homegrown by Heroes logo depicts female vets

BATON ROUGE — The Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC) recently revamped its state collaborated Homegrown by Heroes labels with the inclusion of a female service member to complement the existing male figure.

Eunice schools announce registrations

Some Eunice schools have their registration dates and times, and open house announced. Central Middle School will hold late registration from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Aug. 1. Orientation for fifth graders is from 6 to 8 p.m. July 30. Eunice High School registration will be from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Godspell continues at Eunice Players’ Theatre through July 27

The Eunice Players’ Theatre’s production of Godspell continues at 2 p.m. today. Evening performances follow on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Tickets are $15 and are available at Beaucoup, 114 Second Street, in downtown Eunice, located directly across from the theatre.
