Ninth annual Parade of Paws

The ninth annual Parade of Paws parade was held at 3 p.m. Sunday downtown on South 2nd Street. Organizer and event planner Jerica Guillory held registration in front of Beaucoup for the event before the parade began. There were over 29 entries.

Malachi Robinson Derrick Robinson Sr. and Brook Suire of Eunice announce the birth of their son, Malachi Zakia Robinson, born at Acadian Medical Center on Feb. 20 weighing 6 pounds and 4 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Sherry Broussard and Kenneth Suire.

The heart is a vital component of the human body. Without a functional heart, life is simply not possible. As with other muscles in the body, it is important to give the heart a workout to improve its strength and vitality.
