Nora Saucier Abigail and Nicholas Saucier of Mamou announce the birth of their daughter, Nora Ann Saucier, born at Acadian Medical Center on April 12 weighing 9 pounds and 7.6 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Paul LaCombe and the late Sally LaCombe and step mother Sonya Fusilier.

Gianna Reyes Angela Vasquez and Rolando Reyes announce the birth of their son, Gianni Rolando Reyes, born at Acadian Medical Center on April 25 weighing 6 pounds and 10 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Rafael Magallanes and Tawny Brown.

Wallace Trahan at Liberty Saturday

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by Wallace Trahan & Rice N Gravy. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, and children ages 7 to 12 are $3.

Senior Hall of Fame, ACE lettermen, valedictorians, salutatorian named at EHS Academic Excellence program

Eunice High School held its Academic Excellence program on April 27 and honored and recognized juniors and seniors for their academics and achievements. The program included announcement of Senior Hall of Fame.
