The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will feature a performance by Wallace Trahan & Rice n Gravy. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m.

St. Edmund Catholic High School named its homecoming court.
St. Edmund students celebrated grandparents on Sept. 13. Grandparents attended Mass with elementary students and student body, and following Mass, grandparents had the opportunity to visit their grandchildren’s classrooms. Dr.
Central Middle School kicked off its 2017-2018 DARE program for fifth-graders on Sept. 11. Central Middle School has the largest DARE participation for fifth-graders in the St. Landry Parish School District.
