Edward Robertson Jr. Amber K. Fontenot and Edward D. Robertson Sr. of Ville Platte announce the birth of their son, Edward Darnell Robertson, Jr., born at Acadian Medical Center on April 4 weighing 5 pounds and 10 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Wonda and Michael Fontenot of Ville Platte.

Jay Cormier at Liberty Saturday

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by Jay Cormier & Cajun Born. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, and children ages 7 to 12 are $3.

Eunice Symphony presents spring concert, “Opening Night”

The Eunice Symphony Orchestra is gearing up for its spring concert, “Opening Night”, to be held Sunday, April 15 at 6 p.m. at the Liberty Theater in Eunice. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
