The City of Eunice will celebrate a festival parade and program and invites the public to an event, “Black Women Achievement Against The Odds” on Sunday, Jan. 28. The keynote speaker and parade marshal will be Colonel Dr. Gwendolyn Hebert Thompson, a Eunice native.

The Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Court 92 of St. Mathilda Catholic Church presented a monetary donation to the Eunice Food Bank. The check was presented to the director Mary Ann Guillory.
