Donald Babino, a fourth-grade student at East Elementary, in Vanessa Cormier’s class, earned a 25 point Accelerated Reading award during the third quarter of school. Also, not pictured, earning a 25 point award is Cassidy Vance.

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will feature a performance by Donnie Broussard & the Louisiana Stars.
Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m.

William and Angela Huckaby of Eunice are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lydia Ann Huckaby, to Casey Gerard Guidry, son of Carol and Cathy Guidry of Eunice.
First Baptist Church of Eunice Women’s Ministries held a Garage/Yard Sale on March 18 with all proceeds going to the Eunice Community Health Clinic. Receiving a check of $2,500 is Jennifer Creswell, a volunteer nurse practitioner at the clinic.
