Young Christians recipients at St. Edmund

At the end of each grading term, St. Edmund School recognizes students who go above and beyond outside of the academic realm. These students are selected on their interaction with peers, leadership qualities and Christ like actions.

Stearns to perform in The Nutcracker in Lafayette

LAFAYETTE – Lafayette Ballet Theatre will present two performances of “The Nutcracker” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, in the Heymann Performing Arts Center. A Eunice girl Lily Stearns, 12, will be part of the performance.

Boys make strides to keep Eunice clean

Coutee’s Grocery had two young young boys visit Nov. 11 and they were on a mission. Alex Ned, 12, and Braxton Dietrich, 11, asked permission to pick up trash in the parking lot of the store. Both boys are students at Central Middle School and walk to school and claim they see alot of trash everyday.
