Parade of Paws set for Feb. 15 The Parade of Paws this year will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15 at LakeView Park & Beach, located at 1717 Veterans Memorial Highway, Eunice. There will be no entry fees to participate. There will be no judges, and no prizes.

Ash Wednesday dinner sale set The St. Mathilda Knights of St. Peter Claver and The Ladies Auxiliary of St. Mathilda Catholic Church will have its annual Ash Wednesday Fish Fry Dinner fundraiser sale, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Bishop Ceaser Center, located at 800 East Laurel.

Bengals’ Opening Weekend changed to Murray State

EUNICE– LSU Eunice Baseball will open the 2026 against Murray State College in a Friday doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. inside Bengal Stadium. The Bengals’ weekend plans changed after Dyersburg State CC had travel issues with the hazardous winter weather still affecting portions of the southeast.

EMTL holds Spring Registration The Eunice Men’s Tennis League (EMTL) is currently holding its Spring 2026 tennis registration, which began Jan. 27 and will continue through Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. The EMTL season will begin on Feb. 23. There will be a Captain’s meeting on Feb. 18 at 5:30 p.m.
