A candle-lighting ceremony was held at the Langley Cemetery to remember and pray for loved ones on Saturday. Many ancestors of the surrounding communities including Eunice, Basile, Iota, Crowley, Elton, Jennings are buried in the cemetery. The cemetery is located off of La. 97 (Evangeline Highway) on Fernest Road, in the northwest corner of Acadia parish. Langley Cemetery is non-profit and open to all who need a final resting place.
