Library announces latest Monday night movie lineup

The Acadia Parish Library has kicked off its latest Monday Night at the Movies line-up, and there are four movies left on tap. The movies will be shown in the meeting room of the Crowley Library and the series will conclude on May 14.

WC Read Fire Dept. BBQ fundraiser set W.C. Read Fire Departments’ annual BBQ will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sunday. The BBQ dinners will be sold for $8 each at the WC Read Station located at intersection of Hwy. 13 and Hwy. 374. There will also be a bake sale.
