ABC celebrates Centennial Saturday Acadian Baptist Center, will host its Centennial Celebration on Saturday honoring 100 years of ministry. Acadia Baptist Academy opened its doors in 1917 with the goal of offering Christian education to local and boarding students.

Civil service board passes resolution to change board member requirements

A change in requirements for civil service board members was approved by a vote of three to one during the Ville Platte Fire and Police Civil Service Board meeting on Monday.
