A Media Contact representative from Cleco reported about the power outage in Eunice Tuesday evening, "On Tuesday, July 1, there was an outage in Eunice that impacted 161 customers. The cause was animal interference. The crew worked quickly and safely to restore power. The outage began at 5:53 p.

Savoy Cancer Center touts its local treatment

Guest speakers from Savoy Cancer Center in Mamou touted the benefits of their close-to-home cancer treatment. The Rotary Club welcomed guest speakers Dr. Paul Zhang, M.D., of medical oncology and hematology, Angela Fontenot, director of marketing and SIPS Foundation; and Connie Brignac, R.N.
